Month of Martha Giveaway. Enter Today! (Week # 2)

To celebrate the release of the new Martha Stewart craft line, available at Michaels nationwide now, we here at Plaid are hosting a giveaway. But this is not just any giveaway, this is a Month of Martha Giveaway. Every week for a month, we will hold a giveaway, that will have a different prize from the new line up for grabs. Every Monday at noon we will announce a new giveaway prize, and announce the winners of that week’s prize on Friday afternoon.  We are giving away this an amazing prize pack to 1 lucky Paint Me Plaid blog reader. This week’s giveaway is going to be a prize pack filled with the following:

1 Large Brush Set

1 Detailing Brush Set

1 Stippling Brush

A 3 color assortment of paint from the new paint line

All you have to do is leave a comment below telling us what you would create using any or all of the items in the prize pack? For extra entries (leave a separate comment for each):

    choosing among the paper crafts stuff on Plaid Kids Crafts was tough… since I love kiddy stuff and I love paper crafts… It would be a toss between the Lion and Lamb puppet, or the crafty robots! 🙂

    LOVE the idea from Hani from Craftionary recycled baby food jars!! We have a chalk wall in the play room that the kids always use!
    Would love to get the new brushes to paint on my recycled wine bottles. I also make liquid-proof tile coasters that I paint and use MS’s Mod Podge. I think I see glitter as well, and I use that on the edges of the coasters. 🙂 I use stencils on personalized items especially for kid’s rooms – we made their own personal light switches, so each has their initial on them using stencils.     I have a black shelf in my living room. It is the laminate board kind with the really cheap cardboard backing. I want to cut a new back for it out of thin plywood and stencil it with some sort of design to make the shelf go from ‘blah’ to ‘wow’!

    I paint signs and paint on flea market and house finds. I would love to try painting with these paints on those items and also on my christmas items.     I would like to try some of the paint on a few pillows I have and if it turns out like I would expect, then I might be (nervously) painting my couch! I am in the process of changing the color scheme in my living room but do not have the funds available to buy new furniture or even the fabric to recover my current pieces, so I’ve been contemplating painting one couch. Like I said, nervously! 🙂

    I would love to win your product not only because pretty much everything martha and plaid make are awesome. I am a disabled woman that learned how to paint and now I love it, sometimes it is the only thing that keeps me from not going crazy, but with being disabled I dont have the money to buy the product and I have been using it to paint some animals on the walls in our christen school for the pre K kids.     I’d love to try these products out on old furniture, such as chairs or small tables. I like to give items others are throwing out a second life. The large brush set would be perfect for base coating and the detail brushes would be great for creating leaves, florals, painting primitive designs.

    Love this giveaway! I must say Martha Stewart’s craft supplies are wonderful.

    I LOVE to paint and these supplies would be a wonderful addition to my supply stash! With the brushes i would use them to do all sorts of different techniques. And that paint!!! Gorgeous!! I alter clocks and these paints would be good for my clocks.

    As a Decorative Painting Teacher, I would use every item to introduce “newbies” to the joys of Decorative Painting!

    Brushes: The largest size would be the Varnish brush – every project needs a durable, smooth finish. The next largest flat would be to basecoat the surface, and the remaining brushes would be used for different components of the design. (By the way, I have already discovered Martha’s graduated size pouncers for stenciling! They are amazing!!)

    Fat Stippler: I would show my students how to use the fat stippler brush to create a background effect that is visually interesting and requires no experience to achieve. Just stipple…………

    Ahh, the paints….I would create a whimsical, oversized flower design and paint each petal with a different sheen of paint in an analogous color scheme.

    I think it’s important to introduce beginners to things that make them smile throughout their initial classes – happy colors, fun designs and easy, affordable surfaces like a 12 X 12″ canvas.

    I would love to use the stencils on some new curtains for my entry way, which we just finished painting and adding molding to! It would be a great way to finish up a long over due room

    Wow, I am so excited. I stopped at Michaels and saw the new Martha Stewart’s line of paint and I’m so exceited to use the paint to decorate a Halloween wooden boxes., I would use the sponges with her stencils on a picture frame, or birdhouse., I would use the detailed paintbrushes to draw leaves, halloween witch, skelton, pumpkin, or ghost., The glitter paint would be used on everything to make it sparkle!.

    I love this collection. I have soo many ideas for things to create. I always have such a hard time finding the colors I am looking for and this would totally solve that problem. I would stencil curtains for my living room, re-paint our night stands, stencils some pillows, frost some glasses and vases,and then I would continue to stencil everything in site. I love the geometric stencil look right now! So fun I really hope I win!!

    I love the new paint. It really does a great job and awesome coverage. But do I really have to wait the 21 days for the paint on glass to cure? I have another brand of glass/enamel paint and it allows you to put in over for like an hour. Can I do that with your paint line as well?

    These paints and brushes would be so perfect for my next project, Personalized Toothbrushes.
    First paint plaid, argyle or polka dots on the handle of wooden toothbrushes. Once dry paint on brother, sister, nephew, BFF, guest or someone’s name.
    Coat with a clear lacquer to protect from getting wet.
    Makes a great gift. Give a newly wed couple a set to keep for unexpected house guests.
    Great for a teens’ party (cover the bristles with plastic wrap while painting), will come in handy for all those sleep overs.

    I recently tried Martha’s pearl acrylic paints on a box I painted. I like the results. Need to try them on glass next; have several candle holders to paint as Christmas gifts. Hope they hold up as well as Plaids Folk Art Enamel paints that I’ve used for years.

    I would use the brushes to paint Christmas ornaments. Every year I paint personalized ornaments with the year (and sometimes their name) based on their interests. It’s a cheap gift, but very personal and pretty. Everyone loves them, Skipped that one year and everyone asked “Where’s MY ornament you make me every year?” Oops! Now I try to remember this tradition each year.

    I would love to win this set as I am a new painter and can use them to experiment with new techniques. My brushes and paints are limited so they would not be used on one specific project but on any! I think I would like to try my hand on something wood…

    Anyone who paints knows that you can never have too many brushes – or paint, for that matter! I would use these brushes for all sorts of things, and the bigger ones would give me the incentive to paint something big! I use Plaid paints almost exclusively, so I’d love some samples of this new line of paints.

    I would paint a picture, I would use stencils for the background and then paint the picture with her new brushes and frame it.

    Oh we’re on the downslide towards Christmas and these paints and brushes would be used for many a project. I’m thinking of binding book journals for the family and these would be perfect for creating awesome book covers!

    I would love to win the brushes. I so want Martha’s doily stencils. We don’t have them here in Sweden, but maybe I am lucky and can get a friend in USA to go shopping for me and send them over!? 😉 I am so envious of you having Michael’s and other stores to shop in over there. Here it’s very limited and just expenisve. 😦 I like the travelling memories frame on Plaid Kids Craft. If I won I would use the brushes for Martha’s doilys, plus make a alphabet bunting for my 6 year old son. Then we would make something crafty together as well! 🙂

    I am a stay at home mom with 3 small children, and we love to paint!!! This was the first summer I have ever stayed home with all my kids and we had a ball crafting!! We did painted projects inside, we did painted projects outside!! Plaid paints are the greatest!! We painted murals on walls in the house, painted murals in our new play house outside, made paintings for birthdays, finished our garden gnomes, painted piggy banks,etc!! We love our paint!! We just can’t get enough…

    I am loving those nesting boxes – even though that’s a kid’s craft I see endless possibilities with those. Picture some of the Martha paint, crackled, with some decoupaged flowers for windowsill herb gardens for the winter!

    My imagination can go wild with paints and my card making..can’t wait to start seeing these in Michael’s…and slowly build my MS collection of paints that I can use for so many more projects from paper to glass to even fabric…which helps me make great promotional products for my business..
