Tuesday Huesday: Harvest Decorating

Halloween and Thanksgiving are the main holidays that people decorate for during the fall season. This should not mean that they are the only reasons to decorate during this time of year. You may want to consider using the traditional harvest color tones as a palette to decorate a room in your home with. Take this room pictured above. It looks so warm and inviting. Don’t you just want to grab a good book and some hot chocolate, and curl up in the chair by the fireplace? Use these harvest months as design inspiration for a room in your home. Get out of the comfort zone of only decorating during the fall when one of the major holidays comes around. Click here to see more harvest decorating room design inspirations.

This palette was created using FolkArt acrylic paint colors: #476 Asphaltum, #953 Camel, # 2579 Cut Grass, and # 957 Burgundy.
