Don’t you love giveaways? We here at Plaid sure do! It’s giveaway time again on Paint Me Plaid. This week we are giving away some product from Plaid’s Mod Podge brand. 2 lucky Paint Me Plaid readers will win a Mod Podge Starter Kit. This set includes: Sparkle, Paper Matte, Original Gloss, Original Matte and Outdoor. This set is great for beginning or more advanced Mod Podger. We will announce the winner on Paint Me Plaid on Friday (Jan. 27th), in the afternoon.

  1. I use it of collage papier mache boxes I use in my packaging. I so want to win this. Good Luck to everyone.

  2. I love Mod Podge and use it for so many things. I would use the original for making a seashell and sand picture frame, the sand mixed with the Mod Podge make a perfect cement and looks like wet sand on the beach. I would use the some Mod Podge to decoupage a few pages for a scrapbook I am working on. I would also use the sparkle in the scrapbook and on some ornaments for next christmas season. Of course there will be some experimentation and sharing with my daughter who is very creative and crafty. I really hope to win because I will be able to buy a smaller bottle when I go to the craft store this weekend.

  4. I have heard wonders about Mod Podge, But I have never tried it. I have sooooooooooooooo many Ugly pieces of furniture and knick-nacks that could benefit from it, that if I win this give away I will be able to finally try it and be for ever grateful and so will my embellished junk.   11. We have a new baby in the house that needs some wall decor in his nursery. I also have my eye on a wooden holder to use for wipes, diapers, etc. to keep inthe living room. It needs to be decorated first though, in cut out frogs like his room.

  13. I have found so many things on pinterest that I would love to make with this set!! I think the first thing I would make though is a mod podge photo monogram letter or something similar! Idea inspired by http://sometimescreative.blogspot.com/2011/01/photo-monogram-letter.html. 🙂

  19. Believe it of not – I have never used Mod Podge before! I saw some really cute crafts on Pinterest and want to re-create some of the DIY projects. I just need the starter kit to get me going, because I know my creative Mod Podge options are going to be endless! 🙂

  21. I think a shorter answer would be what I wouldn’t do with it. I love Mod Podge! I still have some items that I made in the 70s and they look new! I use it on so many items it would be hard to list them all..

  51. OMG!!! Best giveaway ever!! So many things to do.I would create pendants,paper bracelets,decorate wooden bangles decoupage glass votive’s or plates. Use them on shoes or even make ornaments out of yarn!! The possibilities are endless!!

  64. I have been painting clay flower pots lately (with Plaid Folk Art paint). I would love to take some special wrapping paper and cut out the designs and affix to the pot with Mod Podge. The abilities of this product are endless.

  76. I’ve always wanted to give these products a try. The Outdoor one I’d use for some decorative clay pot designs for my plants. The others I would use for paper mache items, making things for my sister and cousins.

  88. I totally did not mention what I would use Mod Podge for! I have some sturdy shoe boxes that I want to cover with some of my favorite designer papers and I would use Mod Podge to do that. Plus the Mod Podge gives it a nice protective finish as well.

  121. I plan on cutting some old cardboard boxes into magazine holders, and modge podge with material!

  122. I made templates of switch plates from clear page protectors. Then I printed out photos of things like horses, longhorn cattle, white labs, etc. I covered these pics with my templates to help plan the look of the switchplate. After cutting the pics to size, i then used spray adhesive to glue them to my plain white switchplate covers, hot glued the edges around the back of the plate, then modge podged the front. It makes it look like the switchplate is actually painted!
