Yesterday we shared a hair accessory project you could create with Mod Podge, and today we wanted to show another Mod Podge craft project. Not sure if you have gotten hooked on watching craft how to videos, but I sure have. I could spend hours watching crafty videos on YouTube, because they are so fun to watch and many are simple to do. In this video you will learn how to make a wooden letter bow holder. The supplies used in this project include a wooden letter, found at Hobby Lobby, scrapbook paper, and Mod Podge. Hooray! It’s Friday, and the weekend is here. Looking for something creative to craft? Try these glittering flower hair clips. Women of all ages love to adorn their hair from time to time with hair accessories. From headbands to hair bows, we all have decorated our heads with something. Here is another accessory option that you can make. This glittering flower clip is very trendy and perfect for spring. I stumbled across this creation, on Pigs in Pajamas. This hair clip was created using flowers from Michaels, mod podge, and glitter. I love this project, because it is so fun and can be decorated in various ways. You can perhaps spray paint the flower, or use glitter paint from FolkArt or Martha Stewart paint lines. The possibilities are endless. Often times when people begin crafting they usually learn through a process of trial and error. Those that have been doing this for a long time became better over time, and never actually received much instruction in the very beginning. We here at Plaid like to try and help those new to crafting, by offering simple guides to crafting techniques. Today we want to show you how to load a flat brush.
Step 1
Dampen the bristles of brush with water and blot on with a paper towel. Stroke bristles through the edge of the paint puddle, applying slight pressure and pulling color away from the puddle.
Step 2
Flip the brush over and continue to into the paint puddle filling both sides 3/4 full. Work paint into both sides. The paint should fill the brush.
Step 3
The paint should be smooth and even in the brush, with no blobs on the edges or the sides.

Or you have been looking forward to adding new decorations to your room. Here is a project that can bring new life to any room in your home. A repurposed lampshade is a great spring project. Kindra Boroff, a designer here at Plaid, created this one. This is an intermediate project that will take 2 or more hours to complete. If you are like me, I often have a hard time finding the exact type of lampshade I picture in my mind, well here is a solution. Create your own lampshade. Use this exact design, or use it as inspiration to create whatever you envision.

Do you know what the most popular surface is to craft on this time of year? Easter eggs. Have you noticed all the amazingly decorated eggs that people are creating? There are tons of boards on Pinterest dedicated to just Easter eggs. I have been addicted looking through all of them. Here is another Easter egg project to add to the mix.
